| Application for Absentee Ballot To vote absentee, you must first apply for an absentee ballot. Applications are available during a period beginning 75 days before Election Day and ending at noon on the day before the election. You may pick up an application at your local election office or at the Secretary of State's Office, or you may call either office and ask to have an application mailed to you. The Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse Centennial
The gala celebration of the Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse centennial will cover five days of events culminating in the official re-dedication of the Courthouse on July 4, 2012. Follow the planning process on our blog or Facebook page.
Our Office hours are 8am to 5pm (with the exception of the Treasurer's office) with no noon closure.
The Treasurer's office is open 8am to 5pm for all matters (including tax payments). State Motor Vehicle Licensing is open 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Essential Public Works Services, (water, sewer, and road maintenance) are available 24 hours, seven days a week.
