[ARCHIVED] BSB Public Archives Announcement

COVID-19 Response Icon

The Butte-Silver Bow Chief Executive is requesting non-essential government departments limit the exposure of the public by limiting groups and staff to a minimum.

Good day. The Butte-Silver Bow Chief Executive is requesting non-essential government departments limit the exposure of the public by limiting groups and staff to a minimum. The Chief Executive has requested that all meetings be held via conference call or skype; that non-essential Government departments encourage employees to work from home or have limited access to the staff and public.

We have been asking volunteers to simply not come in until March 31st or until further notice. We feel that the staff can stay at work --unless they have an exposure to the virus--and keep a safe distance from the public.

We are going to be asking patrons to make an appointment for research. We are comfortable we can keep researchers 10 feet apart.

The brown Bag Lunches are cancelled—Kim will be filming Lisa Autio on the 25th and will place the presentation up on you tube.

We recommend that the Chateau cancel their public programs and young creators.

I will be happy answer any questions you all may have.

Best,

Ellen Crain, Director
