Crime Prevention Programs

Joint Programs
Crime prevention programs are jointly initiated and run by local government, community volunteers and/or other organizations in the community such as schools or businesses. These programs address the needs and issues of different neighborhoods and age groups. They help people keep themselves, their families, and their communities safe from crime. Programs may offer information on crime prevention strategies, how to engage community members, and coordinating with local agencies.
