Butte-Silver Bow Superintendent of Schools Cathy MaloneyThe County Superintendent of Schools, an elected position, has served the county since 1880. This position works to meet the requirements of the government bodies of Butte-Silver Bow County and the State of Montana. The office has general supervision duties for the schools of the county within the limitations prescribed by this title according to Powers and duties of Montana Code Annotated 20-3-205.
